Tuleege Integrated Project

Strengthening community systems to respond to urgent health and rights needs of the community members is at the heart of Tuleege Integrated project. The interventions were initiated by a young mothers’ class 2019, activities are planned and executed through the community health, development, education and advocacy systems. #tuleege implements strategies to transform traditional norms, beliefs, attitudes and engage different stakeholders in active participation to rebuild strong community systems to handle inventions and innovations. Integrated mobile outreaches are conducted in rural communities to encourage parents to share information on sexual and reproductive health and rights, embrace maternal and child health initiatives, while the youth corner chat integrated with games involves sharing inspirational stories and health messages for risk-reduction counseling – aimed at upgrading mindset and realigning attitudes to enable young people to seek relevant support services for better and responsible lives.
