Young Mothers Health Initiatives Uganda is a community service organization founded in 2017 by four young social scientists in the Busoga region. It follows the death of a 16 year Esther who was single young positive mother who had been abandoned by her husband with 2 months of pregnancy. She underwent unbearable SRH challenges. Under difficult situations, she suddenly gave birth by the roadside when a passersby later helped her to hospital where she spent three days under critical conditions and died with her baby.
