YOMHI Graduation 2019

Learning means the acquisition and application of skills in a real-life situation. At YOMHI-Uganda, learners have to go through a series of tailored training and assessments to endorse their suitability for the market demands.

On August 27, 2019, it was excitement, happiness, and joy during the 2nd Graduation of Young Mothers Health Initiatives Uganda. YOMHI-Uganda passed out  21 Young Mothers (10 in tailoring and 11 in hairdressing) hosted at Nabukalu HCIII ground, the event was graced by dignitaries from Bugiri district local government and beyond including; Nabukalu Subcounty Chief, Rep. LC V Chairperson, District Youth Councillor, Rep. District Woman Member of Parliament for Bugiri among others. Participants were encouraged to embrace the education of the #girlchild and urged those passed out to engage in ventures for job creation and income generation as well as minding their health, improved parenting and promotion of development initiatives at the community level.
